This was another Awesome book by Vicki. I just don't know how to explain this one without giving spoilers. All I know is it this book took me on an emotional roller coaster. I was feeling happy, sad, angry and many more that I can't describe. At certain scenes I wanted to throw my kindle. I cried, I laughed and in the end I jumped up and down for joy. If you haven't read this, what are you waiting for? You will fall in love with this story like I did. I have a new book boyfriend names JASE. Well done Vicki!!!!
Awesome storyline and great no...made writing skills. I read this book when it first came out and now that I am finally catching up to all my hot reads...I had to re-read this one before book 2. I love how these two BFF'S finally has the courage to admit they not only love each other but are in LOVE with each out.
Drama,suspense, crazy banter,laughs and sooooooo much love.
One of the best book from Vicki Green.
I read almost all the books from Vicki and like to re-read them, especially Together Forever, my favorite that was when I saw I forgot to read the loss.
It would have been a big loss for me.
What an amazing story with a roller-coaster of emotions.
Everything is there, sadness happiness, suspense, fun, laugh and of course true love.
What a great writer, Vicki Green is, and an amazing woman down to earth and faithful to her fans and friends.
I am sure that is what give her the tool to write great fiction and they feel so real.
Don't hesitate to buy it, you will have no regret

I have first say that I haven't finished this book yet. What I have finished has made me fall in love with Vicki's work. The story flows fast and easy. You get a look and feel for each character in the book. I love the emotions that you're brought in to.

Both Jase and Alena are strong and determined. Neither of them wanted to lose the friendship they had but life sometimes determines that we need to go down a different road. After tragedy strikes can they find the road to repair and move forward.

Amazingly well written book and looking to reading more of Vicki's work!!!
He loves me, he loves me not. Alena should just pluck a daisy and start pulling off petals, because--of course--he loves her. If they would just talk to each other, then we wouldn't have to wallow in excessive, unnecessary, hip deep angst. Can you tell I don't like angst?

That said, the book is pretty well written. The POV changes from Alena to Jase without any indicators can be confusing at first. At least our hero isn't an arrogant, overbearing boor; he's actually a pretty nice guy.

So, recommendation is, if you like new adult novels saturated in angst, then you'll like this. Unfortunately, this type of novel isn't my cup of tea.
Jase starts out as this strong, confident and respected man. But closer to the end he seems like more of a weakling in certain scenes, almost like his personality changed in the book.
Alena also starts off different and it also felt to me like her personality changed too much in the book and some scenes where she is really annoying.
The story did drag a lot towards the end and I did not enjoy the book by then any longer.

It really irked me when she had sex with Bill, why the heck would she allow that to happen to her? She should have gotten help and left him sooner.
The story is ok in this book but the editing is horrible. Simple words missing, being used wrong or adding an "s" when it shouldn't be there.

The story itself is ok told from alternating persons and it keeps you on your toes to figure who's talking sometimes. It's an emotional book of...Love, Loss, Hate & Abuse.

The ending isn't all that great though. An announcement was to be at the wedding that was never made and while it's not really a to be continued kind of book it kind of was. It's almost like the author forgot to finish the story.
